Hard to explain why I like this place so much. Grandpa always loved their oatmeal, and I was never interested in going because it seemed a little dumpy to me. Then my mom started going and convinced me to try it with her. Ever since, there's not a Florida visit where we don't stop here at least once. Always for breakfast. Always get oatmeal. The prices are ridiculous, and the food is always good. You get oatmeal, eggs, and pancakes or crepes or toast and coffee all for like 6 bucks. (This is just fuzzy memory right now... don't think there's a menu online. But trust me, it's a good deal.) Almost everyone inside, servers and patrons, are speaking French. We don't, but have never felt bad about it. Servers quickly switch to English as soon as we say "Hi" instead of "Bonjour". Really just a super charming place.

I used to go quite often to this place but since they changed their chef last fall, I am cooling down! Pizza used to be good but now, crust is hard and topping light. It's not a fancy place and it looks more like a sport bar. At 6:30, there is a musician that starts to entertain for the evening.

Worst customer service ever. We waited 15 minutes sitting at a table waiting for at least the waiter to come out and ask for our drinks for starters and nothing. All the waiters just walked by and looked at us without saying a word while we sat there waiting patiently. We walked out with empty stomachs. Never coming back to this place again.....

My wife and I came from the golf course and decided to eat out. We came across this place by accident. It is what people say. French Canadian. The food was great !!!! We both had a Filet Mignon, which was out of this world. And what a price !!!! Under $30 !!!! We were told it is a CHAIRMANS RESERVE cut. We definitely come back !!!

We started to go to the Frenchie of federal highway 10 years ago. The food was never great but we enjoyed watching the type of people going there. Funny.... Now the two partners owners ( brothers in law) have separate and one open Frenchie in Hallandale, we have been going a few time to that place and it has not improve, the chef should go to Danny to learn to make a fluffy omelette, there Bloody Mary, the one that was serve to us, was nothing more than tomato juice with vodka, so there again some big improvement is needed. Really people don't go there for good food but more a meeting place for French tacky no tipper Canadian.

Owner was nice but, the place sucks. I came here for breakfast with my parents and ordered the biscuits and gravy. First off, not biscuits- literally the pillsbury grands with the layers like what you can pick up at any grocery store. When I tried to cut into it and the layers began to separate I was pretty upset. I lived in the south for over a year and spent summers in Louisiana - this is not at all what biscuits and gravy should be. So I just told the waitress this isn't what I was expecting, I don't think I'll eat it - I'll just have my eggs and beans with hashbrowns. Oh, and the eggs plus hashbrowns were incredibly late, too because the cook forgot or the waitress forgot to place the order. She blamed the cook and told me he just forgot to make it, mind you, the place wasn't even that crowded... plenty of empty tables and we got to pick where we wanted to sit. Anyway, the waitress immediately copped a major attitude over the fact I didn't like the food. It's not her fault, I just want a dry and crumbly yummy biscuit that will soak up some gravy...and not a faux biscuit I can pick up at Publix. She gets an attitude with me, which I ignore. And goes off telling me how she doesn't know about biscuits because she's Canadian and not American... I tell her it's really not a big deal that I'll just eat the eggs and I'll be okay, but I won't be eating the biscuits because it's just not what I wanted. She immediately returns to my table after taking the plate to the kitchen and is holding one of those Pillsbury layers wrapped up in saran wrap and tells me that it's a biscuit and she doesn't know what my problem is...yea, this is right after she finished telling me she isn't American and doesn't know jack about biscuits. I'm pretty confused at this point and so are my parents, I mean why is she insisting and arguing after I already said I'd be okay and just didn't want to eat the food given to me? So I try to explain what the difference is and tell her she can open it up and I can Google a picture of a real biscuit if she's that dedicated to understanding the science of biscuits... she whatever's me and rolls her eyes. I sit there, at this point, confused and a little annoyed. She then says whatever to everything else I try saying and keeps rolling her eyes at me. Then asks if she can get me something else so I tell her "sure, some toast would be nice...wheat toast, please." She leaves. Toast takes way too long to get to the table, I'm almost done with my food at this point and kind of don't want the toast but I'll wait for it. When she finally arrives with it she brings me rye toast and I tell her, "I'm sorry, I ordered wheat." She argues with me, again. Tells me I didn't specify what toast and that I just said "toast." [this is probably the worst service I've ever had because I've never experienced a waitress who blatantly argues like this, especially when she's wrong. even if I was wrong and hadn't said what I wanted it was her responsibility to clarify and if she made the mistake she should have just said 'my mistake, I'll get you the wheat.'] Well, when she argues me my mother steps in and verifies that I did, in fact, request wheat, because she heard it, too and my dad nods in agreement. The waitress' reply? "whatever" with another eye-roll. At this point, I'm pretty fed up with her attitude so I ask to speak to the manager. Turns out the owner is there so he comes over and asks what's going on, I try to explain the entire story but he runs off after just telling him about the eye-rolls and repeated whatever and immediately goes to speak to her. He was nice but could have waited for me to finish explaining the entire ordeal and how incredibly weird and just uncalled for her behavior has been. The food isn't great and the service is worse. I can get by with mediocre food if the service makes up for it but a waitress who makes no sense, argues, eye-rolls and repeats "whatever" to a customer shouldn't be working there. If you go eat at this place, you've been warned and make sure you don't get Sabrina, that was her name. Hopefully the owner reads the entire story on this thing since he didn't give me a chance to fully explain what was going on. People like that don't need to be working with customers.

Stopped in to pick up some food from Frenchie's last night. It's a canadian bar and grill, and the staff speaks mainly french. The service was decent, and they were playing Canadian football on the TV's, all while playing some really cheezy music in the background. BUT the food was GREAT. I ordered a Frenchie's burger with fries and it was spectacular. The place wasn't appealing enough to make me stay and dine in, but I'm glad they can cook well. I wouldn't recommend hanging out here, but definitely order some goodies to go.

Well my dad decided to take me out to this restaurant to get some breakfast and was told that it was all basically French Canadian. I thought hmmm that's interesting. We went on a Friday morning at around 9:40 am and the place had a good amount of people being served. We immediately got a table and menus and that was it. The lady who gave us the menu didn't say one word to use. I think it was maybe because she could tell we didn't speak French. We waited 15 minutes and everyone around us was getting served. So we just decided and leave and nothing was said. Probably won't come back.
